Major “Accounting – auditing with ACCA orientation” is a training program that combines academic and career expertise training according to international standards to provide students with a concrete foundation of professional knowledge and skills in accounting and auditing.
This is the first and only program in Vietnam that fully integrates 9 ACCA subjects. It is taught in English with ACCA’s curriculum updated annually. During their studies, students will be equipped with basic and advanced knowledge in accounting, auditing, taxation, financial management, and business performance management. Furthermore, the program focuses on training professional reasoning skills and ethics in accounting and auditing to support future bachelors to positively contribute to the sustainable development of organizations and the economy as a whole. Besides international accounting and auditing, the program also brings Vietnamese accounting and auditing standards to students.
In the learning environment at Foreign Trade University, along with the cooperation of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in Vietnam, students will have the opportunity to participate in many career-oriented programs, skills development, and extracurricular activities. Students are supported by the university and ACCA to revise knowledge before each global exam, receive scholarships to encourage study, have priority to intern and recruit at auditing companies and large enterprises which are the partners of ACCA.
Students have the opportunity to receive 3 degrees in 1 program:
– Bachelor of Accounting, majoring in Accounting – Auditing from Foreign Trade University.
– ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business.
– Bachelor of Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
