On the afternoon of December 20th, 2023, the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing in collaboration with the Business Administration Faculty, KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, and Hana Nanum Foundation organized the “KEB Hana Bank 2023 Scholarship Award Ceremony” for students of the Foreign Trade University. Attending the program, representing KEB Hana Bank were Mr. Cho Han Kyu – CEO of KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, Ms. Trần Thị Thanh Trà – Deputy CEO of KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, and Ms. Nguyễn Minh Ngọc – Head of the Human Resources Administration Department of KEB Hana Bank Hanoi. From the Foreign Trade University, the event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Thu Hương – Vice Rector of the university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Thái Phong – Head of the Business Administration Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Đinh Kiên – Head of the International Cooperation Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Thị Hiền – Head of the Training Management Office, Dr. Bùi Liên Hà – Head of the Political Affairs and Student Affairs Office, Dr. Nguyễn Bình Minh – Director of Quảng Ninh campus, Dr. Nguyễn Thị Phương Mai – Vice dean of the Accounting – Auditing Faculty, Dr. Bùi Thu Hiền – Vice dean of the Business Administration Faculty, along with faculty members and students.
To commence the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Thu Hương expressed sincere gratitude to KEB Hana Bank Hanoi and the Hana Nanum Foundation for supporting students over the past 11 years. She also extended congratulations to the 25 students who have overcome difficulties, achieved outstanding academic performance, and received scholarships today. The university highly values the continuous support from KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, considering it a significant motivation for students to overcome challenges and succeed. On this occasion, on behalf of the Foreign Trade University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Thu Hương presented a commemorative plaque to KEB Hana Bank marking the 11-year cooperation between the university and KEB Hana Bank.
Mr. Cho Han Kyu from KEB Hana Bank Hanoi delivered a speech, expressing heartfelt thanks to the university leadership for dedicating valuable time to encourage and support the FTU students alongside KEB Hana Bank Hanoi. The Hana Nanum Foundation, established by the Hana Financial Group in 2006, has sponsored thousands of students over 17 years with a total scholarship value of up to $850,000 USD. Mr. Cho Han Kyu emphasized KEB Hana Bank’s honor in collaborating with the Foreign Trade University in the past and expressed the desire for continued development between the two entities in the future. He hoped that KEB Hana Bank’s scholarship not only provides financial support but also serves as encouragement for students in their upcoming academic journey.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a representative of the scholarship recipients, Ms. Trần Ngọc Mai – a student from the K59 of the Accounting – Auditing Faculty, presented encouraging achievements made by students over the past year. On behalf of the students, she expressed deep gratitude for the invaluable support from KEB Hana Bank and the Foreign Trade University, committing to continue striving for even higher achievements in the coming years.
The ceremony concluded beautifully with the awarding of the KEB Hana Bank 2023 scholarships to 25 students from the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing and Business Administration! The organizers extend congratulations to the recipients and wish them a fulfilling academic year ahead with even more joy and noteworthy accomplishments!
