🌟 Recently, on the evening of October 4, 2024, the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing , in collaboration with FAASA, successfully organized the Orientation Day 2024 event, exclusively for the new K63 students of the Faculty, held at D201, Foreign Trade University.
🌟 Attending the event from Foreign Trade University were Dr. Bui Lien Ha, Head of the Political Affairs and Student Services Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Kim Anh, Head of the Accounting – Auditing Faculty; and Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai, Deputy Head of the Accounting – Auditing Faculty. The program also welcomed esteemed guests from the department’s partners, including Ms. Le Thi My Hanh, Head of External Relations, ACCA Southeast Asia Continental, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA); Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ha, Deputy HR Director at Ernst & Young Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Ms. Doan Thi Bich Ngoc, Director of the Business Innovation Institute, Misa Joint Stock Company; Ms. Vu Minh Chau, Senior Associate in Human Capital at PwC; Ms. Bui Thi Cat Linh, Deputy Head of Training Advisory at Smart Train Academy; Mr. Dang Phi Long, Director of BISC Training Center, ACCA Gold Standard Training Provider and official ICAEW partner; and Mr. Nguyen Hai Phong, Director of Enterprise Education Products. Additionally, the program featured distinguished alumni and outstanding students from the Accounting – Auditing Faculty: Mr. Bach Duc Huy, K56 alumni specializing in Accounting – Auditing, currently working in partner management in the personal banking division at MBBank, and Ms. Pham Thi Linh Chi, K60 student from English Class 02, majoring in Accounting – Auditing with ACCA orientation. Above all, the event was attended by enthusiastic new K63 students from the Accounting – Auditing Faculty.
🌟 At Orientation Day, the K63 freshmen had the chance to hear valuable and practical insights into the Accounting – Auditing Faculty and the accounting and auditing fields in general. They learned about career requirements, development prospects, study tips, balancing academics and extracurriculars, preparing for professional exams, and conducting scientific research through a roundtable discussion and Q&A session led by notable alumni and current standout students. Additionally, scholarships and meaningful gifts were awarded to students in the department—not only tangible rewards but also invaluable spiritual gifts from the Accounting – Auditing Faculty and FAASA.
🌟 Throughout the program, K63 freshmen enjoyed exciting performances by teams from the department’s We, The Icebreakers: Team 25 – “20-fight: Fight to be bright” and Team 26 – “TOO-SICK,” sending a message to all new students: “Don’t be afraid to stumble, and don’t be afraid to shine.”
