This morning, December 14, 2022, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) signed a new cooperation agreement with the Business and Economics Schools Division under the Southeast Asian University Network (AUN for Southeast Asia). Business and Economics Network -AUN-BE) and AUN Secretariat (AUN Secretariat) to support career opportunities in finance, accounting and auditing for university students. This cooperation agreement will also contribute to ensuring that Southeast Asia has a professional and sustainable development workforce in finance, accounting and auditing; This is essential to be able to move towards a more sustainable future.
The agreement was signed at the Workshop “Developing Professional Financial Skills to ensure the employability of graduates in ASEAN Universities” co-organized by ACCA and AUN in Bangkok, Thailand. on the same 14 December 2022, discuss the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals related to ‘quality education’ through the development of professional skills in finance in the profession finance, accounting and auditing thereby improving job opportunities for students after graduation. The cooperation agreement was signed with the witness and support from representatives of universities in Southeast Asia, including representatives from Vietnam from Foreign Trade University, University of National Economics, Danang University of Economics, Hoa Sen University.
