⭐️ Virtual Finhack is an annual financial knowledge competition organized by ACCA, open to ACCA students and university students across Vietnam. This competition is not only a platform for young talents to showcase their expertise in Finance and Business but also an opportunity to develop communication, teamwork, and personal growth skills. If you are a university student nationwide and passionate about these fields, don’t hesitate to register and join the competition!
The competition consists of 3 rounds:
Round 1: Mastering Specialized Knowledge (November 11 – December 7)
- 4 mini-challenges held every Saturday on: November 6, 23, 30, and December 7.
- The 45-minute online test includes 20 multiple-choice questions on economics, finance, and accounting.
- Participants can choose a preferred time slot on the test day.
- The 105 fastest and most accurate participants will advance to the next round.
Round 2: Team Challenge – “Crack the Real-World Case” (December 14)
- 105 successful candidates from Round 1 will be randomly divided into 21 teams (5 members per team).
- Teams will actively communicate and work together on the case study.
- Participants in Round 2 will also attend a training session on case-solving methods and teamwork.
- Each team will solve a case study and present their solution to a distinguished panel of judges from Vietnam and the region.
- The top 7 teams with the most impressive presentations will move on to the final round.
Round 3: Sprint to the Finish Line (December 21)
- Platforms, templates, and the case scenario will be provided in advance.
- Teams will work on different aspects of a case study and present their solutions online to the judging panel.
What can you expect from Finhack 2024?
The top 3 winning teams will receive prizes to support their ACCA journey:
- ⭐️ First Prize: 12,000,000 VND
- ⭐️ Second Prize: 7,000,000 VND
- ⭐️ Third Prize: 5,000,000 VND
- The “Most Popular Team” in Round 2 will receive a 3,000,000 VND voucher.
- Finalists will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement.
- Participants advancing to Round 2 will attend a 10-session Online Basic Financial Management Course by ACCA (December 24, 2024 – January 12, 2025).
- Meet and network with finance experts from Vietnam and the region.
